Porcelain veneers are a great way to improve the colour, shape and even position of your teeth. They can be used to mask chipped, worn or discoloured teeth to beautifully transform your smile in a short amount of time. They can sometimes even be used to hide gaps between teeth, without the need for braces!
Veneers are custom made, thin porcelain facings that are cemented onto the front surface of the teeth to cover any imperfections you may want to correct. They can either be made from porcelain or a white filling material called composite. The results are a natural looking, more even, balanced smile which can be achieved in as little as 2 visits!

The main differences between porcelain and composite veneers are that porcelain veneers are lab-made by a dental technician; these usually are expected to last up to 15 years with proper care and maintenance. Composite veneers are made from a white filling material and can be crafted chair-side by your dentist.
We work closely with our dental technicians to make sure your porcelain veneers are created to suit your face and aesthetic goals. This can either be just one tooth or a whole smile transformation.
Veneers generally need much less preparation to the teeth as compared with crowns making this a more conservative treatment. It can often be carried out without the need of anaesthetic injections and there is very little to no post-operative pain
